About Rosy James
Rosy James has been painting since the final year of her Degree in Fashion & Textile Design, when she progressed from surface pattern prints to focus on Textile Art, producing work for which she was selected to exhibit at the New Designers Exhibition in London, the annual national graduate show for best of year designers.
She has since continued to study Fine Art taking a Professional Development Award in New Art from Chelsea College of Art & Design, a Cert HE in Fine Art from Central St Martins, and a Masters Degree in Fine Art from the University of Northampton in 2007.
Rosy combines her passion for colour and love of textured surfaces to produce bold and original paintings, both landscape and abstract, attracting private and corporate commissions.
She has successfully exhibited in solo and group shows, has participated in public art events, and is currently collaborating with other artists to create a multi-disciplined exhibition of her poetry inspired series, A Crimson Affair , details of which can be seen on www.rosyjames.com
